Down Under Cruise & Dive:

All monies forfeited unless we are notified 48 hours prior to departure. For passengers voluntarily leaving the vessel or withdrawing from a course after day one, there will be no refund. Cancellation of a dive course is fully refundable up until the end of day 1 only. Excluding deposit if paid. All Tours are subject to the effect of weather or unforeseen circumstances. All dives are weather permitting and operate at the Captains discretion. No refund for incomplete dives. Certified divers must show an internationally recognised scuba cert card. In the interest of safety we recommend that you do not fly within 24hrs of last dive. Although every effort is made, Wildlife Tours Australia shall not be liable for any illness, injury, damages, loss, delay or failure to join the tour that may occur due to factors beyond our control. We highly recommend all passenger have travel insurance coverage. Wildlife Tours Australia retains the right to alter routes, itineraries, fares, days of operation or even cancel tours if unforeseen circumstances occur. Other accredited tour operators may be used on some tours. Cancellation within 7 days of departure will result in a 50% loss of the ticket price; Cancellation within 48 hours or failure to show will result in full fare forfeiture. $25 per person transfer fee applies to any transfer of service within 7 days of departure.

Cancellation Policy: Due to the extensive organisation involved with touring, a strict cancellation fee will be applicable to compensate for costs and lost revenue. We strongly recommend you take out travel insurance to cover against such charges. Once any payment is made the following cancellation fees will apply in addition to any fees levied by your booking agent: Cancellation Fees: Day Tours Cancellation within 2 days (48hrs) of departure results in a 100% cancellation fee. Cancellations between 3 and 5 days prior to departure results in a 50% cancellation fee. Cancellation Fees: Short Break Tours (2-5 days duration) Cancellations within 5 days of departure results in up to a 100% cancellation fee. Cancellations 6-15 days prior to departure result in a 50% cancellation fee. Cancellations 16-29 days prior to departure result in a 25% cancellation fee. Cancellations 30 or more days prior to departure results in : up to a 10% fee charged by Adams Pinnacle Tours Amendment Fees: Day Tours A charge of $50 per person may apply to booking amendments received more than 5 days prior to tour departure. This is at the sole discretion of Adams Pinnacle Tours. Amendments made within 5 days prior to the tour departure will be treated as cancellations and the applicable cancellation fee will apply. Amendment Fees: Short Break Tours (2-5 days duration) A Charge of $100 per person may apply to any modification after the original booking has been confirmed and at least 30 days prior to the tour departure. Cancellation of scheduled Day Tours - In the event of the purchaser cancelling in writing 31 days or more prior to the booked start date a 15% cancellation fee applies; 4 days or more than but less than 31 days a 40% cancellation fee applies; 3 days or less a 100% cancellation fee applies but if re-sold fee reduces to 40%. Cancellation will only be accepted from the booking party. Cancellation of Private Charters - In the event of the purchaser cancelling in writing 61 days or more prior to the booked start date a 15% cancellation fee applies; 31 days or more but less than 61 days a 40% cancellation fee applies; 30 days or less a 100% cancellation fee applies but if re-sold fee reduces to 40%. Cancellation will only be accepted from the booking party. Cancellation by us – our liability is limited to actual monies paid to us by the booking party. Re-scheduling – we reserve the right to make a service charge for re-scheduling confirmed schedules/dates & do so at a rate of AU$25.00 per item; we may waive this charge at our sole discretion if we consider the work involved of doing so to be de minimus. Refunds – any refund agreed will be made via the reverse route to which the original funds were received using tax compliant processes.

Passenger cancellation/date change of any tour, in less than 48 hours but more than 24 hours prior to a departure time will result in a 50% refund of money paid. Cancellation within 24 hours of tour departure or failure to take up a booked tour will result in a 100% forfeiture of the tour fare. Please note also that a “cancellation” includes a change to the date of a tour booking that requires the original booking to be cancelled.

Gray Line Sightseeing Day Tours - Melbourne & Adelaide:

Cancellation fees of 50% may apply for a tour cancelled within 72 and 24 hours of travel. Cancellation fees of 100% may apply to cancellations within 24hrs of travel or when no notice is given. Cancellation fees imposed on Gray Line by our suppliers will also be passed on. Tours may be cancelled at Gray Line's discretion in the event of unforeseen circumstances.

Bums On Seats Tours:

Bookings cancelled within 5 days of tour departure will incur a 100% cancellation fee - no refund. Transfer to a new travel date may be available at the discretion of the tour operator.

Global Ballooning Australia:

Important: Please ensure that all members of your party have been made aware of the following conditions. These Terms and Conditions apply to the transaction detailed on this documentation. Your acceptance of these conditions is a term of supply of the Services. By paying for and accepting supply of the Service, you agree to be bound by these conditions. 1. Definitions: Service refers specifically to the hot air ballooning mentioned on this documentation and generally to the range of products provided by the tour operator, including accommodation and customised activities arranged by agreement. Service Operator refers to the tour company named on your confirmation or any independent contractor supplying/delivering the services to you under the your Agreement with the tour operator. 2. Liability Under no circumstances will The Tour Operator be liable for direct, indirect, consequential or incidental damages including but not limited to lost or damaged property, lost profits or savings or damages for disappointment. The Tour Operator may arrange for the hot air ballooning to be performed under a ‘code-sharing’ arrangement, i.e. it may subcontract another ballooning company to provide you with your flight. In such instances, The Tour Operator accepts no liability in connection with such services or for any loss, injury, or damage to or in respect of any person or property. The Tour Operator reserves the right to alter contents of products and location when deemed necessary. The Tour Operator does however warrant providing services of equal nature and value. 3. Alteration and Cancellation of a Booking In the unfortunate event you should have to alter/cancel your booking, certain fees & conditions apply: If you wish to ALTER your flight booking: If you wish to CANCEL& receive a refund: Within 48 hours prior to a weekday flight, no changes are permitted. Between 48 hours and 7 days prior to a weekday flight - a $50 per person rebooking fee will be charged; your flight will need to be re-scheduled on a weekday flight only, excluding public holidays. 7 days or more prior to a weekday flight – a $25 per person rebooking fee will be charged. You will lose the full cost of your flight if you fail to show up for your flight. You may send someone else in your place if you wish – please let us know the name of the replacement person before the flight. You cannot receive a refund on any trips booked using a gift certificate. (See Section 4) NB: Separate cancellation and alteration provisions apply to large groups and customised events. These are specified on the group booking documentation supplied. The Tour Operator reserves the right to amend these fees and notice periods. When special circumstances arise, some of these Terms and Conditions may be superseded by those published on your booking confirmation documentation. 4. Gift Certificates Gift certificates are valid only when fully paid by the purchaser or distributor. Gift Certificates cannot be redeemed for cash or refunded in part or full. Certificates are transferable to other individuals and are valid only for the period indicated thereon. Once the certificate has been redeemed (i.e. the trip date has been booked) all other terms relating to Alteration and Cancellation (see Section 3) apply, however the value remains non-refundable. Should you need to extend the validity of your gift certificate beyond the normal 12 months, reinstatement fees apply: $50 – 6 month extension; $100 - 12 month extension. 5. Weather, Mechanical, Staffing Other Safety ConditionsHot air ballooning relies on suitable weather conditions in order to proceed safely. Information on specific weather considerations are provided for at the time of making the booking. Additionally, flights may be dependant on mechanical performance or staffing availability. When conditions are deemed by The Tour Operator to be unsuitable or unsafe to proceed, then trips may not go ahead on the scheduled date. Similarly a trip may be postponed due to less than minimum numbers being achieved. Our Melbourne flights may not always fly over the central business district (CBD/city area). Whilst our pilots will endeavour to fly as close to the CBD as possible, our flight path is determined by the most up to date meteorological conditions to ensure the safest possible flight for all concerned. In the unfortunate event that a Service must be delayed, rescheduled or cancelled due to any of the above factors, The Tour Operator will hold payment in credit and offer alternative booking dates. Any request for refund will be treated as per cancellation terms listed in Section 3 above. The Tour Operator will not accept any liability for travel, accommodation, inconvenience or other costs incurred or lost through such cancellation. International, interstate and country visitors should factor the possibility of short notice cancellation. 5. Rebooking Your Flight If your flight has been cancelled due to inclement weather conditions, please contact our office as soon as possible to rebook. Payment received for your flight will be held in credit and applied to the rebooking. Rebooking must be done within 12 months of the first cancelled flight date. There will be no refunds for bookings held on our system for longer than 6 months. 6. Discounted bookings Any discounts or special offers are only available on the full recommended retail price and are not valid in conjunction with any pre-existing discounts or seasonal specials. Any bookings made using a discount or special offer are non-refundable. Bookings are transferable to other individuals and are valid only for the period indicated thereon. All terms relating to Alteration and Cancellation (see Section 4) apply, however the value remains non-refundable. (b) In the interests of safety, you undertake to follow the advice of the pilot and ground crew, comply with any local codes of conduct and act sensibly and prudently at all times. You also agree to indemnify The Tour Operator, its owners, officers and employees for all losses and/or damage arising from any act or default on your part or the part of a member of your party. Under no circumstances at any time during supply of the Services should you or a member of your party be under the influence of drugs or alcohol, nor should you take medication that could affect or impair your judgment at this time. (c) Check with your medical practitioner if you have a pre-existing medical condition that may be affected by the physical nature of hot air ballooning. You agree to indemnify The Tour Operator, its owners, officers and employees against any incident related to your health occurring during or after supply of the Services. (d) Personal belongings taken on board are at your own risk. (e) Ballooning is an outdoor adventure activity, and The Tour Operator cannot be held liable for damage to any clothing.

72 hrs notice is required for general scheduled cruises. Cancellations within this time will not be refunded. Four and six weeks is required for special events.

Australian Kayaking Adventures:

48 hours notice for a full refund. 24 hours notice for half payment refund. Less then 24 hours notice full payment will be taken.

Fitzroy Island Adventures:

No refund inside 24 hours

Scenic Hinterland Day Tours:

Notice of 72 hours notice is required to receive any refund if YOU cancel your booking. Our company has the right to cancel bookings, substitute vehicle, alter itineraries, optional activities and prices without notice. Our company or any of their affiliates will not be responsible for any unforeseeable events or break downs which may effect or alter the contents of the tours described nor will they be responsible for any death, injuries or losses suffered while on board any of our vehicles or during transferring of passengers from vehicle to another vehicle, or during optional tour/s activities as you acknowledge that some of the activities have some risk/s factors.
